Curriculum

Students are instructed instrumentally (private lessons, no public master classes) as well as in chamber music and chamber orchestra.

Each student receives a minimum of two 60-minute private instrumental lessons per week.

Every student performs once in a house concert with professional concert partners at the piano. From the house concert performances, students are selected for the public concerts given by Astona in the area and in Zurich.

Chamber music groups and the two orchestra formations are organised by the director in advance, and the music is sent out to each student 6 weeks before Astona begins.

There is a piano placed at the disposal of each piano student.
Practise times are scheduled for all students.
