Where is Astona

The Summer Music Academy Astona International will be held in 2012 in the Institute Montana above the city of Zug. The institute is situated at 950 Meters on the beautiful mountain of Zugerberg located between Zurich and Lucerne, far from the hectic of daily life.

Astona students and faculty members live on campus at the Institute Montana and take their meals together. Two experienced persons are on hand at all times to care for the practical and personal needs of Astona's students.

The school's ample facilities provide students with room and board and practise rooms in a congenial and healthful atmosphere. Meals, prepared in the school's professional kitchen, are enjoyed by students and faculty in a large and pleasant dining room.

The beautiful alpine surroundings give students a good place to relax and enjoy just being together. Hikes and sports are organised during free time for those who wish to participate.
