Joke Verkooÿen, House Mother

Joke Verkooÿen was born in Weert, Holland and grew up in Aalst. She married at a young age and had two daughters.

After her children were grown, she realised her interest and talent in healing people. Before she felt ready to work with other people, however, she felt the need to learn to understand and heal herself. She spent four years learning symbolism and awakening and learning to see, listen and talk with the universe of nature. She spent two years learning rebirthing. This is a breathing technique used to make contact with the subconscious in order to heal. She now felt ready to help others.

For the past 13 years, Joke Verkooÿen has been involved with young, talented musicians and their daily and personal needs and problems. Her patience, understanding and healing abilities make her beloved by all those under her care.
